FTLC holds library workshop

The Pew Faculty Teaching and Learning Center has scheduled a program calld "How Library and Classroom Faculty Can Collaborate to Teach Critical Thinking Skills."

In the workshop, library and classroom faculty will talk about how they collaborated to teach critical thinking and research skills in a General Education class and an upper-level research methods class. They will show how the two skills are inextricably linked and how library/classroom faculty collaboration can benefit student learning. Discussion will follow. Presenters will include Pat Parker, Brian Ryckman, and Kathryn Waggoner from the Library; William Crawley from Criminal Justice; Wolfgang Friedlmeier from Psychology; and Carol Griffin from General Education/Biology
