Flu Prevention Campaign

Once again, Grand Valley will offer free flu shots to all faculty and staff, their dependents and retirees. No appointment is necessary at the following locations:

• Monday, November 5, CHS Building, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
• Tuesday, November 6, GVSU Family Health Center, 72 Sheldon Blvd. S.E., 5 p.m.-7 p.m.
• Thursday, November 8, Henry Hall Atrium, Student Project Area, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
  Handicap parking is available in lots F and G, Allendale Campus
• Friday, November 9, DeVos Building C, Student Study Area, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Seventy percent of all people who receive a flu vaccination are completely protected. The remaining thirty percent have partial protection and will have greatly reduced symptoms, if they do contract influenza. All viruses in the vaccine are killed, so the virus cannot infect anyone.
