COT staff members can now earn a technical credit by being a member of
one of the two Grand Valley Toastmasters Clubs.
Credit is earned by attending meetings on a regular basis and completing
the first five speeches in the Basic Manual. COTs can also earn a second
technical credit within the same calendar year by attending meetings and
completing the last five speeches in the Basic Manual.
The Allendale club meets on Wednesdays at noon in the Kirkhof Center,
room 104; the GVSU Downtown Club meets Thursdays at 7:30 a.m. The room
varies, call 361-5227, extension 31, for room location.
