Deadlines approach for international travel grants

An informational meeting on the Faculty/Staff Exchange Program, facilitated by the Padnos International Center, will be held Thursday, April 19, at 1 p.m. in Lake Ontario Hall, room 130.

The PIC awards 12 annual grants: six faculty, four AP staff and two COT/maintenance. Exchange activities usually include building departmental relations, reviewing curriculum, cooperative joint research projects, exploring program compatibility and learning about various processes and procedures used by the partner university. Applications are available online at www.gvsu.edu/pic . The final deadline to submit applications is June 1.

Deadlines for faculty who wish to teach abroad at partner institutions are due beginning in August for the Summer 2008 semester. Various host institutions and programs are availablel visit the PIC Web site for details.
