Campus departments sponsor Wellness Retreat

Participants at a daylong retreat can learn more nutrition, stress management and exercise.

Sponsored by Campus Recreation, Women's Center, and Counseling and Career Development Center, the Wellness Retreat is Saturday, January 27, from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Fieldhouse.

In addition to seminars and clinics on rock climbing, tai chi, pilates and healthy eating (and more), free massages will be offered and a clothes boutique will be available throughout the day. Registration is required, call the Women's Center at x12748 to register.

Fair will help students choose majors

Students who are undeclared majors or considering changing their major can receive advice at the Academic Majors Fair, sponsored by the Academic Advising Council.

The fair will run from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on January 30 in the Kirkhof Center, Grand River and Pere Marquette rooms.

Each academic department will staff a table and provide information to students. Career information will also be available from faculty members, Career Services and the Counseling and Career Development Center. Light refreshments will be available and door prizes will be given away.
