Grand Valley's Music Department will host a myriad of artists during a
series of free concerts at noon.
Arts at Noon begins Wednesday, September 12, with a performance by
university carillonneur Julianne Vanden Wyngaard on the Cook Carillon.
The series continues on September 20 at noon with the Borealis Woodwind
Quintet. Their 2006 CD release, “A La Carte 2006,” was a Grammy nominee
for Best Classical Chamber Music Performance. Members of the ensemble
are Katherine Fink, flute; Tamar Beach Wells, oboe; KathrynTaylor,
clarinet; Wayne Hileman, bassoon; and Dan Culpepper, horn.
