Virtuoso percussionist visits Arts at Noon

GVSU Arts at Noon Series presents Tim Adams Jr., on Wednesday, November 1. A virtuoso performer of the entire range of percussion instruments, Adams has played with the rock band "Exotic Birds," on movie soundtracks, classical timpani and even appeared in the children's program "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood."

Adams is principal timpanist with the Pittsburgh Symphony and a professor at Carnegie Mellon University. The performance is at noon in the Cook-DeWitt Center, Allendale. For more information call the Department of Music at (616) 331-3484.
