The top-ranked Grand Valley State (13-0) will host Delta (Miss.) State (12-2) on Sunday, December 10 at 7 p.m. in the NCAA Division II football semifinals. The GVSU-DSU game will be televised nationally on ESPN2 live from Lubbers Stadium -- marking the first time ESPN2 has been at GVSU in school history.
Grand Valley has designated Sunday night a "Black Out," asking Laker supporters to dress in black.
"Let's show the nationally televised audience our Laker Pride! We are excited about having the semifinal game on campus and on national television. It is a great opportunity for Grand Valley State University", said Doug Lipinski, GVSU's assistant director of athletics for marketing.
