James R. Moyer, vice president for Facilities Planning, said the helicopter cannot operate in electrical storms, which are in the forecast for Saturday. He also said the weather conditions could cause a dangerous situtation for workers stationed at the lower end of the water discharge pipe.

to the weather forecast. Crews were planning to repair damage caused by
heavy rains earlier this summer. A helicopter was going to be used to
place 150 tons of stone in the ravine south of the Calder Art Center.
