The Grand Valley State University Web site has received an overhaul, and the university's Web Team is looking for feedback. There is a preview link to the new site on the current homepage where users can view the site and offer input.
"The current site has been up for 4 years now and there has been mass amounts of information added to the site over these years," said web manager Dave Poortvliet. "We wanted to ensure that all information was still easy to find. We also wanted to make sure that our site was viewable by people with disabilities, and that the site would be viewable on mobile devices such as PDAs and cell phones.
Poortvliet said the Web Team has received more than 460 responses on the new site so far. "There are a lot of great ideas and I will be making some changes based on the recommendations we have received," said Poortvliet. The new site can be viewed at wwwtest.gvsu.edu/newsite, and feedback can be offered at www.gvsu.edu/feedback.
