He is a graduate of Rutgers University and received his Master of Fine Arts Degree from Cornell University. He is also the fiction editor of the Boston Review.
Once praised by Newsweek as having 'the dispassionate eye of a journalist and the tongue of a poet,' his stories have appeared in The Paris Review, Best American Short Stories, and The New Yorker. Diaz will read from his new and previously published work, then take questions. A book signing and reception will follow.
