The national director of Project Vote, a non-partisan, non-profit organization that supports voter mobilization in low-income communities, will address the Grand Valley State University community as the next speaker in the Professionals of Color Lecture Series.
Jehmu Greene is scheduled to speak on Wednesday, September 20, from 4-6 p.m. in the Cook-DeWitt Center.
She has worked on numerous campaigns including Clinton/Gore in 1996 and several Congressional races. The past president of Rock the Vote, Greene is a member of many national boards including Young Voter PAC and the Partnership for Public Service, and the Vote-Run-Lead Project, which promotes women who run for office.
