Election forums continue

The Public Policy Institute at Grand Valley State University is holding a series of forums to help voters learn more about the candidates and issues in prior to the November elections. These forums are free and open to the public. The next forum is:
  • Forum on Ballot Proposals 1, 3, 4, and 5
    Monday, October 30, 7:00 -- 9:15 p.m.
    Proposal 1: Protection of conservation and recreation funds
    Proposal 4: Restriction of government's eminent domain powers
    Proposal 3: A referendum to allow hunting of mourning doves
    Proposal 5: Require mandatory funding levels: K-12 & college education

The forums are held in the Loosemore Auditorium at the DeVos Center on the GVSU Pew Grand Rapids Campus, 401 Fulton Street West. Free parking available in Fulton Street lot. See maps at www.gvsu.edu/meetatgvsu.
