Biology, AWRI sponsor lectures

The Biology Department is sponsoring a seminar series in conjunction with the Annis Water Resource Institute.

The first lecture is scheduled for October 19, at noon in Padnos Hall, room 207. Scott R. Abella, assistant professor at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, will give an Alumnus-in-Residence Presentation,"Lessons Learned: Reflections from the Field of a 2000 NRM Alumnus."

A lecture at AWRI that day by Juli Dyble, research biologist at the Center of Excellence for Great Lakes and Human Health in Ann Arbor, will begin at 3 p.m. Dyble's presentation is on Great Lakes water safety. Transportation to AWRI (from Padnos Hall) will be provided.
