Two WGVU programs have been nominated for Emmys: "Hope College Christmas Vespers 2004," directed by Rob Byrd, was nominated for multiple camera field directing; and "Time and Chance: Gerald Ford's Appointment with History" was nominated for outstanding documentary program.
The winners will be announced June 25.
The station also received three 2005 Videographer Awards, an international competition that this year saw more than 2,000 entries.
"Time and Chance: Gerald Ford's Appointment with History" received an Award of Excellence, the highest award; "A Coast Guard Tribute 2004" received an Award of Distinction; and "Hope College Christmas Vespers 2004" received an Honorable Mention.
