WGVU Public TV and Radio presents a trip to the award-winning vineyards and cellars of Fenn Valley in Fennville.
Joe Borrello, wine expert, author and Tasters Guild National President, hosts this special Taste of West Michigan Tour on Saturday, September 24.
From vine to wine, attendees will have a chance to sample some of the region's best, learn how to match the perfect wine to a variety of foods, and enjoy lunch in the winery's beautiful cellar room. During the tour of the vineyard, visitors will taste various varieties of grapes, along with the wines that are created from each variety.
Round-trip deluxe bus coach transportation from downtown Grand Rapids is also included in this special one-day excursion, proceeds from which benefit WGVU. The bus will leave Grand Rapids at 8:30 a.m. and return at 5 p.m.
The cost is $45 per person, or those interested can purchase tickets for this special tour and the station's annual Food, Wine and All That Jazz tasting event coming up October 28 at the Van Andel Museum Center for only $70 (a $90 value).
