His talk, "Van Andel Institute: The Present and Future Promise" will include an update on the institute's progress and expansion plans. The Van Andel Institute has focused its efforts to become a world-class research facility in life sciences, and also aims to affect the local and state economies.
The talk will be September 15 in the Loosemore Auditorium of the DeVos Center on Grand Valley's Pew Grand Rapids Campus, 401 W. Fulton St. Breakfast is at 7:30 a.m. and the presentation begins at 8 a.m. The event is free and open to the public, but reservations are required.
