Due to weather conditions and difficulties flying from the East Coast,
Dr. Henry Kissinger's appearance tonight in Grand Rapids is canceled.
The former secretary of state was scheduled to speak on China and
American foreign policy at an event at Grand Rapids' Amway Grand Plaza
Hotel. The event was sponsored by Grand Valley State University's
Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies, the Gerald R. Ford Library
and Museum and the Gerald R. Ford Foundation. The sponsors are
attempting to reschedule Kissinger's appearance.
