The numbers add up

Nearly 500 students, educators and others attended the recent Statistics Career Day program on Grand Valley's Allendale Campus. Fourteen exhibitors included ten employers and four graduate school programs. Break-out sessions were conducted by professionals from the field and Dr. Fritz Scheuren, president of the American Statistical Association, addressed the lunchtime crowd with wisdom and humor.
