To accommodate transportation needs for the many events being held the week before classes, a special Laker Days Shuttle is in service August 25-28.
Beginning August 25, the Rapid will run the #50 Route from the Allendale Campus along Lake Michigan Drive to the Pew Campus in Downtown Grand Rapids from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. On the hour the bus will pick up at the Pew Campus, and will pick up in Allendale on the half-hour. The last pick-up of the day will be at 10:30 p.m. in Allendale. The traditional GVSU Rapid schedule will resume on the first day of classes.
