U.S. Sen. Carl Levin, Michigan's senior senator and the ranking Democrat
on the Senate Armed Services Committee, will discuss "New
Directions in National Security" on Friday, October 14, from 11
a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the Alumni House, on Grand Valley's Allendale Campus.
Sen. Levin also serves on the Senate Intelligence Committee and the
Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
The talk,
presented by Grand Valley's political science department and the
International Relations Program, is open to the public.
