The conference will run from 6:30-8 p.m. on Monday, October 10, in the Loosemore Auditorium of the DeVos Center in Grand Rapids. Registration is $5 per person at the door.
Speakers Rolando Talvera Flores, a coffee farmer; Marbely Garcia Lopez, expert coffee cupper; and Yara Talavera, coordinator of the Miraflor, Nicaragua, Eco-Tourism program will talk about organic coffee farming and where coffee dollars go. Fair trade coffee will be served.
