More than 60 middle school students particpated in a month-long summer camp hosted by TRIO Educational Connections and held at Burton Middle School.
The "Laker Explorers" visited Grand Valley and other area colleges and conducted experiments at P.J. Hoffmaster State Park in Muskegon and aboard the Annis Water Resources vessel D.J. Angus. Educational Connections partnered with the Lake Michigan Federation and Campfire USA to sponsor the program, which ended July 15.
Educational Connections is one of Grand Valley's TRIO programs.
