Parents moving their students into living centers at Grand Valley State University had help this week from faculty and staff members and alumni.
"Helping Hands" is a growing tradition at Grand Valley, with increasing numbers of employees and alumni carrying luggage and computers and checking new students into living centers. Grand Valley Alumni Association members pitched in, as did Grand Valley President Mark A. Murray.
