Hardball on Campus

Bill Ballenger of Inside Michigan Politics
and state Rep. John C Stewart, chairman of the higher education
appropriations committee, will hold an open disussion on education and
politics when they visit Grand Valley for an event on Sept. 15. The
event, called "Hardball on Campus," is patterned after the
television show "Hardball" starring Chris Matthews. Ballenger
and Stewart will discuss political issues relevant to a campus setting,
and much time will be allowed for a Q&A session with the pair. The
forum will be Thursday, Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. in the Cook-DeWitt Center on
the Allendale Campus.
