GVSU library Web site redesigned

Grand Valley's library Web site (www.gvsu.edu/library ) has undergone a redesign to help guide students through the vast array of available resources to facilitate their research. The work was completed this summer through a collaboration between a committee within the libraries and the Web development staff in Institutional Marketing.

The new Web site features pages showing consolidated resources by subject areas in a section called "subject resources." There the students will find librarian-selected databases, Web sites and library guides that relate to a specific subject area. There is also a federated search tool that can search multiple databases to aid in finding vetted resources.
