Additional Ruse lecture planned for Friday in Allendale

Michael Ruse, professor of philosophy and director of the program in history and philosophy of science at Florida State University, will present a lecture at the Allendale Campus on Friday, October 21, from 10 a.m.-noon.

Sponsored by the biology and philosophy departments, Ruses lecture, "Perspectives on the Creation and Evolution Debate," will be held in the Kirkhof Center, Pere Marquette Room.

Ruse will give the inaugural Grand Dialogue lecture on Thursday, October 20, in the Eberhard Center.

He is the author of several books on Darwin, most recently Darwin and Design: Does Evolution Have a Purpose?
