Young children and teens with physical disabilities will learn various recreational and competitive sports during the 20th annual Junior Wheelchair Sports Camp, which runs today through August 5 at Grand Valley State University.
The camp is sponsored by the Grand Rapids Wheelchair Sports Association. About 70 campers, ages 6-18, are expected to participate.
All activities are at the GVSU Fieldhouse and surrounding athletic fields. Camp begins each day at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m., except for August 5, when camp will end at noon with an awards presentation.
