Facility Services has begun summer remodeling projects in Lake Huron and Lake Michigan halls. In Lake Huron, rooms 205, 101, 161 and 132 will be closed through Mid-July. Part of the renovation includes asbestos removal in room 205 from May 3-7; rooms 101 and 161 from May 10-18; and room 132 from May 19-21.
In Lake Michigan, renovation of room 275 includes asbestos removal. The corner of Lake Michigan surrounding 275 will be closed during asbestos abatement; renovation will continue until June 17.
These rooms will be inaccessible during renovation. EAG, an industrial hygiene consulting firm, will monitor the air quality.
