To golfers, the Golf Digest ratings issue is as coveted as the Zagat Survey is to restaurant connoisseurs.
More golfers could be expected at the Meadows, as the golf course recently received a four-and-a-half star rating from Golf Digest (out of five stars). The award is based on surveying 20,000 Golf Digest subscribers, who were asked to rate courses on the basis of pace of play, service, value and overall golf experience.
"We're pleased to be recognized as a premier golf club and facility in Michigan for public golf," said Terry Sack, general manager of the Meadows. "Our goal has always been to be a club where people can, not only play, but learn the game of golf."
