International relations student David Johnson was named a Henry Scholar and will intern for U.S. Rep. Pete Hoekstra this summer.
Scholars are chosen by the Paul B. Henry Foundation, named in honor of the late congressman who served West Michigan from 1985-93. Facilitated by Grand Valley Department of Political Science, Henry Scholars serve a summer internship in the office of one of Michigans congressional representatives.
Johnson, a senior, has made the deans list throughout his college career.
