Grand Valley and Hope College begin new partnership

Health professions students from Hope College will be able to make an easy transition to graduate studies at Grand Valley State University. Under a new agreement signed November 10, two Hope College students will be accepted in Grand Valleys Master of Science Occupational Therapy Program and two students will be accepted in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program.

"I have always had a deep respect for the academic background and values that are put forth at Hope College," said Jane Toot, dean of the College of Health Professions. "I believe that any student meeting the program criteria will be a wonderful fit for our professional curricula."

"Hope College is pleased to collaborate with the Grand Valley Health Profession programs in Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy," said James Boelkins, provost at Hope College. The agreement will provide Hope students with excellent options for pursuing these two programs. We also believe that Grand Valley will benefit from receiving some very well-prepared Hope students. This type of collaboration is good stewardship of resources."
