Named by Time magazine as one of the 50 future leaders of America,
author and womens issues activist Rebecca Walker is considered one
of the most audible voices of the young womens movement. On
Thursday, she will speak on the topic of her latest book: feminism and
masculinity. Walkers talk, Feminism and the New Masculinity:
Putting Down the Gun and Waking Up to Who We Really Are, takes
place at 7 p.m. March 18 at the Grand River Room of the Kirkhof Center.
