A group of Grand Valley scholars gathered to discuss the upcoming election on October 21. The roundtable discussion was titled "America 50/50: Making Sense of the 2004 Presidential Race."
The discussion featured Gleaves Whitney, director of the Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies, Jeff Polet of Hope College's political science department, and Grand Valley political science faculty members Kedron Bardwell, Kevin Den Dulk, Darren Walhof, and Heather Tafel.
