Can you give an effective presentation? Do you want to learn?
Grand Valley's two Toastmasters clubs can help faculty and staff
members become powerful, effective speakers. By giving speeches in a
friendly, comfortable atmosphere, participants will identify their
strengths and weaknesses, then turn weaknesses into strengths.
There is a special meeting of the Allendale Toastmasters on Wednesday,
October 29, beginning at 3:30 p.m. at the Meadows. People interested in
attending are asked to RSVP by October 22 by calling Martha Wilson at
x12204 or sending an e-mail to [email protected].
The regular meetings are Wednesdays at 7:30 a.m. in 142 Kirkhof Center
(Allendale Toastmasters); Thursdays at 7:30 a.m. at the University Club
room(Pew Campus Toastmasters).
