Tickets PLUS, with outlets in West Michigan Meijer stores and throughout
the state, is now the exclusive ticket outlet for all Grand Valley arts
and athletic events.
Tim Selgo, director of athletics, said the university's contract with
Tickets PLUS benefits Laker fans.
'We are really excited to join with Tickets PLUS in making it easier
for our fans to get tickets for Laker athletic events, as well as other
GVSU events,' he said. 'With the increase in attendance we have had in
recent years, we needed to take our ticket operation to the next step by
offering our fans more ways to get tickets to GVSU events.'
Tickets PLUS can be reached online at www.TicketsPLUS.net, by calling
222-4000 or 800-585-3737, or by visiting a retail outlet at Meijer and
other stores.
Individual tickets for Laker football go on sale beginning July 1.
Football tickets will also continue to be sold at the athletic office,
192 Fieldhouse, from 8 a.m.-5p.m. Monday through Friday and two hours
before kickoff at Lubbers Stadium Ticket Gate 2.
