Grand Valley will celebrate 'the music of the master' with its fourth
'Bach Around the Clock,' a 12-hour marathon devoted to the music of
Johann Sebastian Bach. The event, held in conjunction with the Fourth
Biennial Grand Rapids Bach Festival, will take place throughout the day
on Thursday, April 3.
Performances are open to the public free of charge.
The marathon is held from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. in the Cook-DeWitt Center,
Allendale Campus.
Featured are several hundred student and faculty soloists, vocal and
instrumental ensembles, and conductors from Grand Valley, Cornerstone
University, and Aquinas, Hope, and Grand Rapids Community colleges.
