This year's Distinguished Alumni Awards will be awarded to Mary L.
Kramer (pictured), and Nancee L. Miller.
Kramer, '79, is vice president of Crain Communications and the first
woman elected as an officer of the historical Detroit Athletic Club (and
its president in 2003). Miller, '68, was Grand Valley's first full-time
director of Alumni Relations until her retirement earlier this year.
Miller is credited with leading the $2.5 million fund-raising effort to
build the Alumni House and Visitor Center and with serving as a voice
for more than 47,000 GVSU alumni.
