yTo help guide the new administration as it leads Grand Valley into the 21st Century, Patricia Oldt, assistant to the president for equity and planning, has begun a strategic planning project that provides the university community with another opportunity to help design the institution's future.
This week, faculty and staff members will also receive a card that details the first round of times and places for the planning sessions. Input is also being gathered on the Web. The address for the Designing Our Preferred Future project is ucweb.gvsu.edu/future/
Oldt said she plans to complete the information-gathering phase of the planning project by Thanksgiving. The data would then be analyzed and shared with the Presidential Search Committee for its consideration early next year, along with the Board of Control and a yet-to-be-named university planning committee.
