Former Lieutenant Governor Connie Binsfeld will deliver the commencement address as students in GVSU's Traverse City programs are graduated Tuesday evening, May 2. This is the third year the university has held the northern event.
The Traverse City commencement ceremony will be at 7:30 p.m. in the Park Place Hotel.
Nearly 80 students have completed undergraduate or graduate degree programs in Education, Nursing, and Social Work through Grand Valley at the University Center in Traverse City. Students came from throughout northern Michigan to earn the degrees, including 13 Social Work students from Sault Ste. Marie
