Comedian Bill Cosby is coming to GVSU for a Sunday, October 15 performance that will cap the university's Homecoming Weekend celebration. The show will be in the Fieldhouse Arena on the Allendale Campus at 8 p.m.
Ticket prices are $45 for the public, $30 for faculty, staff, and alumni, and $18 for GVSU students, and they go on sale October 9.
Cosby, a recipient in the annual Kennedy Center Honors for lifelong achievement in 1998, has been an American TV favorite since the 1960s, when he starred in the popular I Spy series. He is known to younger audiences for The Cosby Show, which aired from 1984-92. He also created the 1970s Fat Albert animated series, and is currently heard as the voice of Little Bill on Nickelodeon.
Cosby is also an accomplished author, advertising pitchman, and has appeared in motion pictures.
