GVSU has appointed Jodi Chycinski as the new director of admissions.
Chycinski has served as GVSU's associate director of admissions for the past three years. Prior to that, she worked in Holland at Davenport College as the director of student services for three years. She was also a member of the Holland Campus Leadership Team that set policy and direction for the Meijer Campus in Holland.
We are happy that Jodi agreed to take an expanded role in building the quality of Grand Valley State University as an institution, said Bob Fletcher, assistant provost.
Her responsibilities include all aspects of undergraduate and graduate recruitment at Grand Valley. Chycinski will also be involved in designing and implementing a comprehensive program of effective marketing strategies to attract students to the university.
I have taken tremendous pride in representing the university for the past three years and really look forward to using my experience in this new role, said Chycinski.
Chycinski holds a bachelor's degree from Davenport College and a master's degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University.
