About 50 people took in a Tuesday noontime concert on the Cook Carillon. The event helped mark the fifth anniversary of the 1994 installation of the instrument on the Allendale Campus. The performers featured University Carillonist Julianne Vanden Wyngaard, Associate Carillonist Barbara Kindschi, and student Jason Buckley.
Next year at this time, GVSU will have two carillons, with the coming addition of the Beckering Family Carillon on the Grand Rapids Campus.
