The career of Warren Reynolds should be a role model for those who seek to become broadcasters, President Lubbers observed in creating the new fund. This scholarship will enable young men and women who aspire to the broadcast arts to receive needed financial assistance and to learn by example from the man for whom their award is named.
The Reynolds scholarship was announced in conjunction with the 50th year of broadcasting by WOOD-TV, and the first contribution to the scholarship fund was made by WOOD-TV. We commend WOOD-TV for its service to our community and for its many partnerships with the university, McLogan said.
