On Thursday, January 29th, 2026, Grand Connections and SAGE partnered with the Recreational Therapy Student Club for an energizing evening of gentle movement and community connection. Held in Au Sable Hall on GVSU’s Allendale campus, the event featured a light chair yoga session designed for participants of all levels, followed by an engaging discussion on how inclusive activities can support healthy aging and overall well-being.

Attendees enjoyed stretching, relaxation, and the chance to meet new students and fellow community members, creating a warm and welcoming start to the new year, even in the midst of Michigan’s chilly January.
