Currently at FOBI we offer the Family Business course for undergraduate students in which we discuss and analyze the intricate connections between management, ownership, and family dynamics that characterize family businesses. Its intention is to identify the different challenges family businesses face and discuss the best paths for creating new streams of value across generations. Students have the opportunity to interact with West Michigan family business leaders who share with the class their experiences, that we also discuss through cases.
