Wings, Ballots, and Beyond is an interactive civic engagement event hosted by the NAACP GVSU Chapter designed to educate and empower students about the voting process. This program focuses especially on first-time voters, providing clear, accessible information about voter registration, understanding ballots, important deadlines, and how local, state, and national elections impact our communities. Through engaging discussions, hands-on activities, and open dialogue, participants will learn not just how to vote, but why their vote matters. The event creates a welcoming space for students to ask questions, build confidence, and leave feeling informed and prepared to participate in the democratic process.
