Held in Kindschi Hall of Science, rooms 1101, 1102, 1108, 1113, and 1121. Check-in will take place at the lobby of Kindschi (by the covered enterance).

Contact Information

The Pre-Veterinary Club is an academic student organization devoted to assisting students seeking careers in veterinary medicine. We support students by providing opportunities to expand animal experience, enhancing leadership skills and responsibility, as well as providing a friendly, professional, and intriguing collegial experience at Grand Valley State University. The purpose of this organization is to provide students with guidance, resources, and useful information to promote success in the veterinary pathway. The organization also provides volunteer opportunities to enrich the surrounding community, and networking options to allow students to get involved with others in the field.

We host speakers from students to veterinarians to those in unique branches of veterinary medicine. At other meetings, we will provide stress-relieving crafts, such as making dog toys to donate to local shelters! We enjoy having conversational and fun meetings, while relaying important information and beneficial opportunities in the area. Outside of our meetings, we will venture to events for volunteering or experience, and to businesses in the field to learn more. Participation in the club will lead to great opportunities, important contacts, and the preparedness to apply to the veterinary school of your dreams! You're likely to find some life-long friends as we bond over our passion for caring for animals. Everyone is welcome to join, despite your major or career intentions!
