Alternative Breaks (AB) is a service organization that sends out week-long environmental and social service trips over spring and winter break. Members who go on trips will complete over 40+ hours of service and be led by our amazing Site Leaders! One of the main goals of AB is to bring what we learned on our trips back to Grand Valley's campus. We have monthly events that work to give back to our local community. We want to bring service back home to West Michigan! AB is not religiously affiliated and welcomes people of all faiths and beliefs. There are also opportunities to grow leadership skills by becoming a site leader or e-board member.

If you love to travel, volunteer, and make new friends, join LakerLink to receive our monthly newsletter that has info about our upcoming events and opportunities!
