Volunteer and travel this spring break with AB

Alternative Breaks is having another info night this week! We will provide information on our student organization, help you become a member and teach you how to apply for our service trips! We also will have free stickers, candy and $1 t-shirts!!! This will take place November 16th from 4-7 PM in Henry Hall Atrium, the main hallway near the fountain! We can't wait to see you! Stop in at any time for a quick visit or stay a while!

We are a non-profit student organization that focuses on social and environmental service nationally (over 6 hours from Grand Rapids) or regionally (within 6 hours of Grand Rapids) over Spring Break. This is perfect to get 40+ hours of community service, bond and make friends with members, and travel out of Michigan! An added benefit is that it looks great on your resume and LinkedIn too!!!

This year we are taking 5 trips from March 4th - March 11th. The trips are:

Individuals with Different Abilities (national, $250)
Park Preservation (national, $250)
Water Restoration (national. $250)
Homelessness (regional, $150)
Mystery Bonus Extravaganza (regional, special price of $150)

The cost of these trips includes EVERYTHING! Transportation, food, stay, gas, all of it!

Scholarships & Fundraising
We offer fundraising opportunities and scholarships based on financial needs and interviews. You can potentially receive full-trip coverage. If you have any questions about scholarships, contact [email protected].

Sign up for Spring Scholarship Application 2022-23

We are also hosting a dog toy making session from 7-9PM on the 29th of November! This will take place in Kirkhof Center room 1104, get two hours of service! No need to be a member, bring your friends, roommates and a smile
